Colours
Choosing a colour for your aluminium windows and doors requires careful thought to enhance the overall appearance of your home. The colour you choose can turn your joinery into a statement feature or blend in to complement your other features or views. The Altherm product range is available in a full palette of powdercoated and anodised options.
Powdercoating
Powdercoating is the most popular surface finish and offers a huge range of colour options that cater for buildings in all locations.
Our range of 35 popular colours is a good place to start. They are available in Duralloy, the most economical powdercoat finish. Some colours are available in Duratec, a high performance powdercoat finish. Our powdercoat colours are also available to colour-match your hardware.
Note: when you are choosing your aluminium joinery colour, always assess the colour in natural light using an aluminium colour swatch.

Anodising
Anodising is a durable and colourfast technology that offers an alternative to powdercoating. Anodising is a popular choice for architectural projects with the matt 'frost' finish as standard though traditional anodising is also available.
Anodising creates a dynamic finish as the brightness of the colour changes depending on the angle you're viewing it from. Some variability of colour can occur and is part of the anodising process. There are six colours available in the anodised finish.
Note: when you are choosing your aluminium joinery colour, always assess the colour in natural light using an aluminium colour swatch. We are able to provide you with the colour swatch samples upon request.
